Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 July 2026
These terms govern your use of cai.bike ("the service"), an AI-assisted cycling training tool. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
cai.bike syncs cycling activity data from your connected Strava account and provides training analysis, planning tools and an AI coach chat based on that data. The service is provided for your personal use on a monthly subscription basis (cancel anytime; prices are shown clearly before you are charged). AI coach conversations additionally draw on a prepaid credit balance; credits are non-refundable and are forfeited if you delete your account.
2. Accounts and access
- You need a valid email address and a Strava account to use the service.
- Login is via one-time email links; you are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
- The service currently operates with a limited number of user places. When capacity is reached, new signups are placed on a waitlist and contacted when a spot opens.
- One account per person, and one Strava account per cai.bike account.
3. Not medical or professional advice
Training suggestions, fitness metrics and AI coach responses are generated automatically and are for informational purposes only. They are not medical advice, and they are no substitute for the judgement of a doctor or qualified coach. Always consult a medical professional before making significant changes to your training, especially if you have any health conditions. You train at your own risk.
4. AI-generated content
Coach chat responses are produced by third-party large language models. They can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your situation. Use your own judgement before acting on them.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of Strava's terms;
- attempt to access other users' data or probe, disrupt or overload the service;
- use automated means to scrape the service or abuse the signup, login or support forms;
- resell or commercially exploit the service without permission.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of your activity data. How it is collected and used is described in the privacy policy. You can disconnect Strava at any time from the settings page, and you can delete your account and its data at any time from the account menu in the app.
7. Availability and changes
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It is a small, evolving product: features may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put the service at risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, cai.bike shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss of data or loss of performance arising from your use of the service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
